Volunteer Opportunities
LEAVEN’s volunteers catalyze change. Thanks to them, we lift people up and transform lives. Annually, our volunteers offer over 17,000 hours of service.
Our volunteers include retired and working individuals from a wide-variety of professions. LEAVEN volunteers must be over 18 years old and willing to go through an interview and training process. If you’d like to join them in supporting our efforts to transform hardship into hope, we have many options. Discover what matches your time and talents:
Concierge: Greets and directs clients in the lobby. Provide assistance to clients checking in for services and expedite client flow.
Receptionist: Greet clients, answer questions and provide information over the telephone, administer the appointment calendar.
Interviewer: Learn about client needs through an interview process and document client stories.
Case Worker: Verify and coordinate client needs.
Administrative Assistant: Support LEAVEN in countless ways, from mailings to special events.
Records: Organize information about clients and LEAVEN activity.
Coming from all walks of life, our volunteers bring a lifetime of common sense and experiences that allow LEAVEN to remain compassionate and caring in the face of hardship.
LEAVEN has special needs as well, from interpreters to computer technicians, so reach out to Kiara West, Volunteer & Community Development Coordinator at 257-5696 or kiara.west@leavenfoxcities.org for more information.
